'Tis the Season to be Sneaky...fa la la la la, la la la laaaaaaaaa

BAH! Humbug!
Why is it that sweet and sneaky go so well together? Food that tastes good to us can kill us. Grease, chemicals, and sugar, sneak in for the kill...and kill slowly. Unlike a one-time dose of straight-up poison.

Likewise, people who are toxic, can kill us spiritually...a slow death as well. They come across as, sweet and kind in the beginning. Messengers of good will; good intentions; caring, loving, etc...

Children are most trusting. Sexual predators, abusers, bullies- all prey on children with ease. Christmas time is the perfect setting. Inside and outside of family gatherings, school functions, celebrations, and, perish-the-thought...Church. Everyone is excited-Christmas is coming! we let our guard down with the intention to display good will, and a loving heart.

A child does not have to be physically manipulated and attacked to be wounded for life. Over time, damage eats them away from trusting and caring about the elderly. My children despise most, the overweight old lady at church who bullies and embarrasses young ones, at will. Many times they have come home from church crying, insulted, and confused as to why Sunday is the worst day of all.
To this, I have always helped them overcome the hurt by informing them that, "She probably didn't eat her fruit cup today-and is, extremely constipated!"..which will make any old lady mean and nasty. Why old ladies? because over the years, I rarely see old men act out their power. They already know they have it.

As an adult, most of us do not learn to ward off and stay away from these wolves parading as sheep until it is too late and irreversible damage is done. What? Mrs. Goodwill could actually be, a wolf?

Yes.

I would classify anybody a wolf who uses innocent and trusting individuals to get their rocks off by power-tripping upon them; because, how can a sheep possibly get something satisfactory out of seeing a hurt, and embarrassed look, on a child's face? or on anybody's face for that matter!
But because they show up in church every Sunday, "serve", clean up after, volunteer, etc...they think that they are covered.
They probably kick their dog, when no one is looking!
