Sometimes finding faith-based answers to life's questions in the Bible, Church, or local fellowship is nearly impossible. Especially through the traditional channels that our forefathers set up for us.
It is one thing to struggle with your own fleshly lusts and weaknesses, which is YOUR private responsibility before God. But, it is quite another thing to be living under direct demonic attack. which will cause to to reflect an irresponsible life of fleshly living before your "church family".
And it is the kind of attack that is subtle-like poison in your water. The kind of poison that takes a long time to kill-and sometimes never will. Sometimes, demonic poison will cripple and disable-granting a life of misery and despair. The victim, many times, would rather just be killed instantly, than to suffer on and on and on.
This demonic Malignancy that is attached to your heart, and sucking your spirit from you is unseen by those around you. This kind of malignancy is so poisonous to your system, that it will cause you to look to others as though the problem is in YOU. Remember, tumors are mostly invisible to the human eye; but the outward signs of having one, eventually shows on the outside. Consider an athlete who has a slow-growing tumor on her liver. She slows down. Her coach instantly thinks she is becoming lazy-her teammates blame her for losing meets. This is what happens in a church "family" when the hostess or host of a malignant narcissist begins to show signs of the life-sucking tumor they are living with.
Psychopathy entered my life through a God-given institution called, "Marriage". While the ideals of marriage are meant for all of us, they are not imparted to each one of us. And, it does not matter if we give psychopathy a fancy, worldly name or not, the actions of a psychopath are demonic and flesh-driven. So, don't feel ashamed or badly when traditional Christian teachings are totally useless to you. They actually may be damaging, as they were in my case. So be careful. Go to a surgeon and leave the family practicing to the inexperienced.
I had an interesting conversation last week with a new friend. It soon turned towards her sister's struggle with a "meddling, controlling" family member who has all but crippled her socially, financially, and emotionally. The woman went on to tell me that, "Although she attends a nice, country church, it can not help her with this problem." I tried not to laugh, because I could relate to her sister's plight.
Of course they can not fix her problem-and we all would like it fixed!
They can help, maybe-but 'not' fix it. When you have a malignant tumor attached to you, you can not go to a family doctor for a possible cure. You need a surgeon skilled in the kind of tumor that you have. I explained to her that there are meddlers, and there are malignant meddlers (psychopaths-demons). Her sister seems to have a tumor.
My new friend and I talked about how, all the rules of "Christian living" change, when one is dealing with a malignant-or, a demon. Most Christians refuse to understand, or hear this; until it happens to them. It is scary, foreign, and not a necessary evil in their own knowledge base; or, it might truly be in their life, but they are still in the denial, co-dependent-making-excuses-for-the-evil, stage.
This is why most pastors have NO CLUE what to say or how to help you; and way too much of the time, they will look for ways to BLAME YOU for the malignancy. Kind of like your family doctor blaming you for lung cancer (when he didn't even ask if you smoke).
One truth that is in the Word, but very hard to find is, "You did not Cause it. You can not Cure it. You can not Control it. But you can Cope." This is the "Four 'C's'" that my children's LPC taught us. Although she is not a devoted Christian, this wisdom has taken my children and myself to new levels of healing. This is the kind of truth that is not summed up in one verse of Scripture, but, is found through years of reading, studying and getting a "Bird's Eye" view.
So, do NOT feel badly or dismayed that you must go outside your usual fellowship for answers. Do you not know that God is everywhere? Become a Lean, Mean, Gleaning Machine. Glean what you need and what is useful to you and leave the rest.
