A sheep can go through something over and over again, and still be surprised each time it happens. Why? because sheep are "wired" to be easy-going and non-worrisome. It is their nature. A sheep is not a predator. A sheep is not suspicious. Sheep are not calculating. They only wish to be left in peace to munch their pasture.
Sadly, sheep are rarely left alone and in peace. They make for perfect prey to the wolf.
